I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, ideal for our requirements and steeped in fascinating history. The service was exceptional, with everyone being friendly and helpful, especially Ellie who clearly loves her job. The dining experience was top-notch, with excellent dishes cooked to perfection. However, the rooms lacked adequate seating and tables, and the lighting was poor, which was a bit of a downside. Overall, a great value for money stay.

The room we stayed in, located at the end of the third floor, was complete with a roll-out bed for our six-year-old. However, the room was cold, the lighting was poor, and there was no seating or tables set up, which was a bit inconvenient.

The hotel's location in the pretty town of Shaftesbury was fantastic. Right in the center, shops were within walking distance, Gold Hill offered lovely views, and there were plenty of great cafes around, such as the Salt Cellar with fantastic homemade pies and cakes.
